Thin browser harness is a thin browser controller that speaks the raw browser protocol plus a skill file.12 It avoids wrapping the model’s browser tools in a thick layer.2

Overview

The agent edits helpers when a call is missing and then reruns.2 The package core stays protected, and an optional bridge only exposes those helpers.1

Mechanism

  1. The model receives the raw protocol and a short skill file.12
  2. Helpers stay thin, and the agent adds a missing function and reruns.2
  3. A long-running process holds the connection open.2
  4. The package core is protected, and edits land in an agent workspace.1
  5. Helpers are exposed through a bridge only as a thin adapter.1

Applications

The controller is relevant when browser work is getting wrapped in a god-tool instead of a raw protocol and a skill.

Limitations

The project’s file layout is not a required structure for other repositories, and a hosted browser cloud is not required.1
