Obsidian agent skills is a skill pack that teaches agents a notes app’s formats and a vault command line.1 The pack covers a markdown dialect, database views, canvases, a vault command line, and clean web-to-markdown conversion.12

Overview

Practitioners describe a notes vault used as a workspace with a queue, generated output, and a constitution file read first.34 The vault is searched before an answer is given, and extracted decisions are written back by rule.4

Mechanism

  1. Skill folders that teach the formats are installed.1
  2. A narrow command line handles search and tasks.13
  3. A request file is dropped, processed on a cycle, and its output lands in a generated folder.3
  4. A memory file is loaded, and the vault is searched before an answer is given.34
  5. Material is captured first and archived instead of deleted.5

Applications

The pack is relevant when an agent must work with that notes app’s formats or drive a vault from the command line.

Limitations

The app is not required as the only interface.
